How would you feel in this situation?

Imagine you are getting all cosy with your loved one etc feeling really nice and then they come out with, When did you last brush your teeth? (twice a day by the way, sometimes 3 times a day) would that bring the moment down, or ask when did you last have a shower, would you find that a bit rude?
